Alf takes care of investor relationships and risk management. With over 40 years’ experience in finance and real estate. Alf began his career as a Chartered accountant working with two major Tier 1 firms for 10 years before founding Rosenfeld Kant and Co. This firm provided business, tax and consultancy services to high-net-worth individuals with a particular emphasis on finance and real estate.

As the result of his experience in finance and real estate Alf was invited to join the board of a listed company Howard Financial Holdings Limited. This company was engaged in various aspects of finance including management of the largest mortgage trust at the time in Australia. 

During this period Alf served on the approval committee for all large loans over $10 million. 

As the result of his experience in finance, real estate and exposure to all forms and types of business Alf possesses all the necessary skills to access risk areas of finance. 

In subsequent years Alf founded Guardian Financial Services Pty Limited many of the initial investors were clients of Rosenfeld Kant and Co. 

Alf continues to lead GFS Group to success alongside fellow director Greg Hawes.

Greg is responsible for the borrower and broker relationships and managing the loan process from end to end.

With an extensive history in property finance, Greg began his career in business banking with a top-4 bank. In 1993, Greg left banking to become a finance broker, working for the largest finance broking firm in Australia at that time. Greg then went on to run his own successful finance broking company. When Alf set up Guardian Financial Services Pty Limited more than two decades ago, he handpicked Greg to begin the business with him – and the rest is history.  

Greg lives and breathes property and has a deep understanding of the market, borrower and investor pain points. He has extensive market experience, and his strong industry network ensures solid outcomes.
